Eat Dust (Belgium) x Lewis Leathers (UK): Product Review

Rob and Keith at the Hayride, back when it all started.

Our relationship with Rob and Keith of Eat Dust started at the Hot Rod Hayride many years ago, when it was still at Bisley. There were these two totally hip bearded men on hard-tail Shovel Heads they had ridden from Antwerp dressed in a new look in denim. Just to show you how long ago this was, they were probably the only people with beards in the entire event. Getting back to the clothing, the pair had made a fusion of American workwear, heavy denim (in the Japanese style) and Antwerp contemporary style, that they called Eat Dust. The graphics were spot-on and so was their friendly approach. Many collections later, the basic formula is still there and today they have their own dedicated store and café in their home town. That’s the history, now the big news: the dynamic duo have teamed-up with British bike-wear legends Lewis Leathers for Eat Dust’s take of the classic Lewis Leathers Western Jacket (LL catalogue No. 988) in suede with the Belgium brand’s unique camo’ lining. There will only be 50 of these, so we suggest you get your order in now.
