Initially we wanted to feature Adri for her personal style and show her work as a talented photographer on the SoCal rockabilly and custom culture scenes, but there’s a lot more here than we had expected. Ms Law’s personal styling is exceptional and although she prepared a cocktail lounge look for Men’s File before our shoot Adri Law usually gets about LA on an old Evo Sportster in denims and engineer boots. The photographer has also been on some lengthy all girl rides – like across the Baja peninsula, and that’s a long way on a Sportster.
As well as long distance motorcycling, photography and styling she’s also one of the initiators (along with Chase Stopnik and Lana MacNaughton) of the Paradise Road Show, a custom event that’s held in Palm Springs each January at the Ace Hotel. This remarkable young woman studied photography at the Art Center College of Design and has been honing her craft for the past 7 years as a pro, shooting mainly on film.
